Would you like to help care for our horses?
Under 18’s: If you would like to help out with the horses at our yard, you must be a regular RHEC rider, aged 11 or over. You will also be required to attend an induction and at least 3 training sessions before you will be allowed to assist on the yard. Training sessions are usually held in the school holidays – please check the News section of the website for the latest dates or contact Reception for further information.
We also have a range of opportunities for adults to volunteer with the Ride High charity and assist with maintenance around the site:
Are you confident around horses and comfortable working with children?
We need capable adults who would like to directly support the Ride High charity by working with our horses and assisting the children, helping to lead ponies and providing support around the yard as required.
We're looking for kind, calm and confident adult volunteers who can assist on the following days:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday | 11am – 1pm and 4pm – 6pm
Wednesday | 11am – 1pm and 2.30pm – 6pm

Do you have practical skills? Can you spare some time to help at the Ride High Equestrian Centre?
We are looking for people with a range of skills including: DIY, carpentry, building, plumbing, gardening, maintenance, cleaning and decorating.
Whether it's an hour a week, or every day, we can make use of your skills!
