Hamish joined the Ride High family in September 2019. In the stable he’s a cheeky chap who likes to sniff pockets and will happily stand and be brushed and plaited – he knows how handsome he is! He’s an accomplished dressage pony and enjoys his work in the school as well as loving a cuddle. Hamish likes meeting people, so do come and say hello to him when you are next at the yard..

Jemima is one of a kind! Adorable, hardworking and a tough little cookie who's afraid of nothing. She's affectionately nicknamed 'Baby Rhino' because of her uncanny resemblance to these beasts – did you know that the International Rhino Foundation says that the closest living rhino relatives are horses! She's very protective of her pony friends and she hates being on a diet.
Whiskey is a very capable chap, a beautiful welsh pony, he’s a forward going, responsive ride and is already very popular with our yard team. A recent arrival to our yard, this little pony has a big personality and is a very friendly lad. Do come and say hello to him when you’re next in.

Smartie is our resident laid back sun worshipper with a cheeky side. He's great with our beginners and while some may say he's lazy we just think he likes to take a chilled-out approach to life. His favourite thing is to pass back his feed bucket when he's finished so our yard team can fill it up for him!

Colour: Dark Bay
Peggy is one of the largest horses at the centre. She is a firm favourite in the arena as she is such an experienced and capable ride. On the ground she can be a little grumpy, and certainly feels confident telling you how she feels. You'll find Peggy out in the field overseeing the other mares.
Breed: Welsh Section D
Kofi is a very handsome boy with a personality to match! He's often found dozing in the sunshine in his stabe and is usually very chilled. He likes to take things at a gentle pace, unless it's time to have a bath and then it's a different story! Be sure to say hello next time you see him with his big head over the stable door.
Solo (Soloman) is a lovely, friendly cob who joined us in 2019. He’s a confidence giving superstar, who loves being brushed and spending time with children on the yard and is also a nice and steady chap in the school.
Jeanie is a very sweet mare, one of our largest horses, she has quite unusual markings. She joined us in late summer 2019 and has settled in well at the yard - she has a lovely nature. She has a great attitude to her work in the school, but also enjoys taking it easy in the fields with her new friends.

Ride High's largest resident. Even though he's big Suave is super friendly and an extremely handsome horse. His favourite part of the day is breakfast time when he's known to neigh as loud as he can to let the team know he's hungry. He likes to hide in the back of his stable and sleep so please look out for him if you can't see his head over the stable door.

As one of the youngest members of our equine team, Gunner is still learning the ropes. He loves a cuddle and bananas are his absolute favourite treat. You might find him saying hello over his stable door in the courtyard – he does love a nose scratch. He definitely has the funkiest fringe on the yard! Kindly supported by GMS
Lexi is one of the sweetest ponies at the centre and will do anything to please. She's a very good listener and loves a good scratch on her neck! Make sure you say hello if you pass her stable door.

Coco is friends with everyone, horses and people, and he loves being in the field with his friends. Coco is quite sensitive and caring and picks up on emotions and body language. He's very handsome and will do anything for a bit of praise or even a cheeky carrot! Coco enjoys his job and loves being part of the Ride High team.

Speedy is one of the smallest ponies on the yard. She may be small but her legs move at 100 miles an hour like a cartoon! Her favourite part of the day is nap time, and she can often be found lying flat out in her stable. Speedy is very friendly and loves interacting with people so make sure you come and meet her.
Breed: New Forest
Fun, reliable, calm and a natural at what she does. Poppy loves helping beginner riders, especially as they learn to canter, and one of her favourite things is going out to explore on a hack.
New to the centre, Becca is a real sweetheart. She's very friendly and particularly perceptive, feeding off the energy around her. Becca is mostly happy doing her own thing and can be found chilling out in her stable most of the time.

Treacle is incredibly friendly and really enjoys cuddles. She is excellent for beginner lessons with endless patience and a love of children. Treacle really enjoys her work in the arena and also in the courtyard being groomed and preened. She is very good at standing still while our instructors are teaching students and clients about horse care, she simply loves the attention. She is a popular member of the equine team too with many friends out in the field.

Grady is his own pony, he will listen to your idea and then give a few of his own and likes to test who's boss. He is happiest trotting up and down his field, speaking to any passing people or horses. Grady is very soft and lovely to groom, and is a nice gentle ride with easy paces.
