Hacks

Led Hacks 
4 June: 10.00 am – 10.30 am & 10.45 am – 11.15 am | £25 per child | 4 years +   

Meet our friendly ponies and join us for a gentle Led Hack around the perimeter of the Equestrian Centre.  Due to Covid restrictions 1 adult must accompany each child and be prepared to lead their pony (training will be given).

Walk, Trot Hacks   
4 June:11.30 am – 12.15 pm  & 2 pm – 2.45 pm   | £35 per child | Level 3+

Join us for a gentle hack exploring the local countryside.  These hacks are suitable for riders who can already ride independently (L3 and above).

Advanced Hack   
3 June 10.30 am – 11.30 am and 4 June: 3 pm – 4 pm  | £40 per child | Level 5+

Explore the local countryside on horseback with us! An hour’s hack which will include walk, trot and possibly canter (ground and weather permitting).  These hacks are suitable for Level 5 and 6 riders.

Hack for Adults   
Monday 31 May | 9.30 am – 11.30 am | £60 per person | Level 5 +

Join us for a longer hack exploring the local countryside! This hack is for adults only and will include walk, trot and canter (ground and weather permitting).  Level 5 and above. Riders who are not currently registered with us will need to complete an assessment before joining this hack.

 

Pony Hour

31 May:    2.00 pm –   3.00 pm | 4 – 7 years   and    3.30 pm – 4.30 pm | 4 - 12 years | £30 per child 
2 June:     9.30 am – 10.30 am | 3 – 9 years  and  11.00 am – 12.00 pm | 4 - 12 years | £30 per child 

In our Pony Hour children will spend half an hour riding and half an hour on the yard learning more about ponies and pony-care.  This is a great opportunity for children to find out more about their new equine friends.

Children may only be accompanied by one adult.  The adult will be given training to lead their child’s pony for the ridden session if this is required.  Please wear sensible, closed-toe shoes or boots!  
 

Tots’ Pony Hour

31 May and 3 June | 10 am – 11 am | 3 – 6 years | £30 per child 

Our Tots’ Pony Hour includes a half-hour lead rein ride and structured, fun activities on the yard, learning more about ponies and pony-care.  This pre-school activity is suitable for children aged between 3 and 6.

Children may only be accompanied by one adult.  The adult will be given training to lead their child’s pony for the ridden session if this is required.  Please wear sensible, closed-toe shoes or boots!  
 

Pony Experience 

1 & 3 June: 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm | £45 per child | 5 years+ 

Children will join the Ride High ponies for a 40-minute ridden session and spend time on the yard learning more about ponies and how we care for them. This session is ideal for beginners.  Parents must leave children for this activity and will not be able to stay on site.
 

Pony Morning   

1 June: 9.30 am – 12.30 pm | £65 per child | 5 years+ 

Children will join the Ride High ponies for a 45-minute ride and spend time with our team on the yard for a hands-on session learning more about ponies and how we care for them.  Parents must leave children for this activity and will not be able to stay on site.
 

Beginners’ Assessment Group Lessons

 2 June: 2.00 pm – 2.45 pm | 3.00 pm – 3.45 pm | £30 per child | 4 – 15 years

An introduction to riding – these beginner group sessions will teach the basics of riding and allow us to assess children who would like to join regular group riding lessons.  These sessions are open to new clients only and are suitable for ages 4+. 

Children may only be accompanied by one adult.  The adult will be given training to lead their child’s pony for the ridden session if this is required.  Please wear sensible, closed-toe shoes or boots!

Important Information: 

Due to COVID restrictions, numbers on site will be strictly limited, so please only bring those who have booked onto your session or you may be turned away.  Numbers are limited to:

Pony Hour & Tots’ Pony Hour - 1 adult may stay on site with each child during the session, no siblings or extra adults please.

 Beginners’ Assessment Group Lessons - 1 adult may stay on site with each child during the session, no siblings or extra adults please.

All other sessions: Adults must drop off children at Reception and collect at the end of the session. 

Essential:

All children should wear a mask and gloves.

Please wear sensible shoes or boots as our stable-yard has uneven and muddy surfaces and children must wear trousers for comfort when riding

All adults should wear masks whilst on site and gloves if leading a pony (e.g. Pony Hour).
