This May Bank Holiday we are offering activities for children who would like to try horse riding and have fun learning more about ponies:


Pony Hour

Monday 3 May  10.00 am – 11.00 am and 11.30 am - 12.30 pm  |  4 years+   £30 per child In our Pony Hour children will spend half an hour riding and half an hour on the yard learning more about ponies and pony-care.  This is a great opportunity for children to have fun outdoors and find out more about their new equine friends.

Children may be accompanied by one adult who will be given training to lead their child’s pony for the ridden session.  No siblings or extra spectators please. Please wear sensible, closed-toe shoes or boots!  



Important Information: 

Due to COVID restrictions, numbers on site will be strictly limited, so please only bring those who have booked onto your session or you may be turned away.  Numbers are limited to:

Pony Hour - 1 adult may stay on site with each child during the session, no siblings or extra adults please.


  • All children should wear a mask and gloves.
  • Please wear sensible shoes or boots as our stable-yard has uneven and muddy surfaces and children should wear trousers for comfort when riding. 
  • All adults should wear masks whilst on site and gloves if leading a pony.
  • If possible long hair should be worn tied back and low  -  to enable the best fit for the riding hat and to avoid discomfort.
