Ride and Care

Wednesday 23 February: L1 & L2: 2 pm – 4 pm | £50 per person
Regular clients only

This Half Term we’re offering our regular L1 and L2 riders the chance to get more hands-on:  Children will help prepare their pony for a riding lesson, have a 45-minute ride and then help to care for the ponies after they are ridden.  This is a great way to gain experience and learn more about tacking up and untacking, improving your skills and knowledge, as well as enjoying a riding lesson.

Horse Mastership Programme: Horse Clothing

Friday 25 February: 4.30 pm – 5.30 pm | Sessions cost £10 per child but are free for Pegasus and Unicorn riding club members.

There is an extra charge of £5 if you’d like to take the test and receive a badge at the end of the session.

In this session of our Horse Mastership Programme we’ll be looking at horse clothing: Improving our understanding of the different items of clothing our horses wear, including fly masks and rugs, examining what they’re for and how to fit them correctly. We’ll look at the different types of rug and the factors to consider when choosing appropriate clothing for our horses.
